In 1989, brothers Mike Hogan (bass) and Noel Hogan (guitar), Fergal Lawler (drums) and Niall Quinn (vocals) formed the band The Cranberry Saw Us in Limerick. With this lineup, the team recorded the mini-album Anything. Less than a year later, in March 1990, vocalist Niall Quinn left the band to focus on his own project, The Hitchers..
